The Evolution of Medicine to Integrative Medicine
Integrative Medicine is the future and must be the cornerstone of a meaningful transformation in health care. It offers the promise of containing health care costs while improving outcomes first, by shifting the focus away from disease management toward prevention and health promotion through its emphasis on lifestyle medicine and second, by bringing into the mainstream treatments not dependent on costly technology. This talk will explain the philosophy of Integrative Medicine and its relevance to the current health care crisis in the U.S.
