Integrative Medicine

Integrative Medicine is a healing-oriented practice that takes account of the whole person (mind, body, and spirit), including all aspects of lifestyle. The practice of medicine that reaffirms the importance of the relationship between  practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate conventional and complementary therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and disciplines to achieve optimal health and healing.

  • Integrative Medicine consultation for Comprehensive Evaluation, Cancer, Menopause, Diabetes, Hypertension, Weight problems, and Nutritional Counseling
  • Integrative Medicine is a specialty service with a specialty care copay. Any visit with Dr. Prasad, Dr. Lee, and Dr. Pierce is a specialty care visit and you will be responsible for the specialty care copay.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a method of balancing and building the body’s life forces or Qi, which flows through particular pathways called meridians. Traditional Oriental Medicine views disease as the result of an imbalance or blockage of Qi flow. Very thin, sterile, stainless steel needles are inserted into specific points along meridians in order to disperse the blockage and/or mobilize the body’s natural immune response.

Chiropractic Medicine

Chiropractic is a modality of treatment that emphasizes diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine, joints, and soft tissues.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is often part of prescribed physical therapy and physical rehabilitation programs because it has proven to be beneficial for many chronic conditions.  Patients request massage for many health conditions in order to relieve stress, to treat medical conditions, and to help promote general wellness. Massaging the soft tissues, can increase blood and oxygen flow to the massaged areas to warm them, and to decrease pain.

Energy Medicine

Healing Touch uses gentle, light or near-body touch to clear, balance, energize and support the human energy system to facilitate and support healing for the whole person: mind, body, spirit.
